Yang Xinsong (1968-), professor, master's and doctoral supervisor at the School of Electronic Information, Sichuan University, head of the "Swarm Intelligence and Control" Laboratory, project review expert of Chengdu Science and Technology Association, innovative leader of the "Tianfu Emei Project", selected as Clarivate Analytics' Global Highly Cited Scholar and Elsevier's China Highly Cited Scholar for five consecutive years from 2019 to 2023, and listed in the "Lifetime Scientific Impact Ranking (1960-2023)" and "2023 Annual Scientific Impact Ranking" of the top 2% of scientists in the world jointly released by Stanford University and Elsevier. In 2024, he won the "Outstanding Contribution Editorial Board Award" from MDPI Publishing House. He was awarded the Outstanding Reviewer of SCI Journal J. Franklin Instit. in 2019 and the Outstanding Reviewer of IEEE Trans. Network Sci. Engineering and TNNLS in 2022. He has visited Southeast University, City University of Hong Kong, University of Hong Kong, and Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He is the editor-in-chief of Engineering Science and Technology, Intelligence & Robotics, Frontiers in Applied Mathematics and Statistics, Mathematical Modelling and Control, SCI Journal Neurocomputing, Neural Processing He is an editor of Journal of Computer Science and Engineering and of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (AE). He is a senior member of the Chinese Command and Control Society, a senior member of the Chinese Automation Society, a member of the Chinese Aeronautical Society, a member of the Professional Committee of the National Complex Network Conference, a member of the Academic Committee of the Stochastic System Control Group of TCCT, a member of the Professional Committee of Intelligent Internet of Things, a member of the Chinese Society for Systems Engineering, a member of the Chinese Simulation Society, a member of the Chinese Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics, and a reviewer of Mathematical Reviews. In 2016, he won the second prize of the Jiangsu Science and Technology Award (ranked third), and won the Chongqing Outstanding Academic Paper Award for three consecutive years from 2017 to 2019. In 2020, he won the first prize of the Sichuan-Chongqing Outstanding Paper Award, and in 2021, he won the second and third prizes of the Sichuan-Chongqing Outstanding Paper Award. He has 3 authorized invention patents, published more than 150 scientific research papers, cited more than 8,000 times by SCI, with an H-index of 51. He has published in SIAM Journal on Control and Optimization, IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks and Learning Systems, IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems –I, IEEE Transactions on Fuzzy Systems, IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control, IEEE Transactions on Cybernetics, IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics: Systems, Science China Technological Sciences, Science China Information Science and other top domestic and foreign magazines. He won the second prize in the National UAV Competition, the third place in the first "Zhihang Cup" National UAV Intelligent Algorithm Competition, the fifth place in the "Best Ranking Award" of the "Zhiling Bee Swarm 2024" International Unmanned Bee Swarm Technology Competition, etc. He has presided over and completed 2 national and nearly 20 provincial scientific research projects, and is currently presiding over 1 national general project.

Engineering、TNNLS杰出审稿人，访问过东南大学、香港城市大学、香港大学、香港理工大学，是杂志《工程科学与技术》、Intelligence & Robotics、Frontiers in Applied Mathematics and Statistics、Mathematical Modelling and Control、 SCI杂志Neurocomputing、Neural Processing Letters、Mathematics的编辑（AE），中国指挥与控制学会高级会员、中国自动化学会高级会员、中国航空学会会员、全国复杂网络会议专业委员会委员、TCCT随机系统控制学组学术委员会委员、智能物联专委会委员、中国系统工程学会会员、中国仿真学会会员、中国工业与应用数学学会会员、美国《数学评论》的评论员，2016年获江苏省科学技术奖二等奖（排名第三），2017-2019年连续3年获重庆市优秀学术论文，2020年获首届川渝优秀论文一等奖，2021年获川渝优秀论文二、三等奖各1篇。授权发明专利3项，发表科研论文150多篇，SCI引用8000多次，H指数51，发表的杂志包括SIAM Journal on Control and Optimization, IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks and Learning Systems, IEEE Transactions on Circuits and  Systems –I, IEEE Transactions on Fuzzy Systems, IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control，IEEE Transactions on Cybernetics, IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics: Systems, Science China Technological Sciences, Science China Information Science等国内外顶级杂志。获得全国无人机竞赛二等奖、首届“智航杯”全国无人机智能算法竞赛实物赛第三名、“智领蜂群2024”国际无人蜂群技术大赛“最佳排名奖”第五名等，主持完成2项国家级和近20项省级科研项目，正在主持1项国家面上项目。
