Assoc. Prof. Yan Hu, Southern University of Science and Technology, China

Yan Hu, a research associate professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering and the Sifakis Trusted Research Institute of Southern University of Science and Technology. She has obtained the title of associate researcher certified by the Chinese Academy of Sciences. She focuses on research in the field of medical artificial intelligence, especially in ophthalmic disease diagnosis and surgical auxiliary support. Since receiving a doctorate degree from the University of Tokyo in Japan in 2016, She have been committed to the research of medical image intelligent processing technology, and published more than 70 academic papers in well-known journals and conferences at home and abroad, including 43 papers published in first/corresponding author, including TPAMI, TMI, MIA, MICCAI, etc. Her research focuses on the development of artificial intelligence algorithms for preoperative image analysis, 3D model construction, intraoperative video analysis and other aspects, aiming to achieve intelligent visual perception to assist surgery in all aspects through preoperative planning, intraoperative guidance and postoperative evaluation. These studies have significant significance in promoting precision medicine and robot assisted surgery. I have presided over 7 projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China,  provincial and municipal natural science funds, 4 of which have been successfully concluded.

胡衍,南方科技大学计算机科学与工程系和斯发基斯可信研究院的研究副教授，已获得中国科学院认证的副研究员职称。她专注于医学人工智能领域的研究，尤其在眼科疾病诊断和手术辅助支持方面有突出表现。自2016年在日本东京大学获得博士学位以来，一直致力于医学图像智能处理技术的研究，在国内外知名期刊和会议上发表学术论文70余篇，其中以第一/通讯作者发表的论文43篇，包括TPAMI、TMI、MIA、MICCAI等。她的研究主要针对术前图像分析、3D模型构建、术中视频分析等方面的人工智能算法开发，旨在通过术前规划、术中指导和术后评估等实现智能视觉感知来辅助手术的各方面。这些研究对推动精准医疗和机器人辅助手术具有重要意义。主持国家自然科学基金、省、市自然科学基金项目7项，其中4项已顺利结题。
